<description>A group of Japanese living in Oslo, organized a charity poster Exhibition at DogA on 20,21 May 2011. The money raised by selling posters was donated through small Non Governmental Organizations to those who really suffered from the Tsunami, Earthquake, or the secondary disasters.

100 artists, designers, illustrators from all over the world were asked to donate their artworks for one A1 poster. On the theme of OMOIYARI (japanese term for empathy).

 Posters for Japan Facebook page

The text in my poster says “the sun will always rise in the land of the rising sun”. I chose this sentence because for me Omoiyari represent positivity and love. Believing in a better tomorrow. The visual and artistic references are the French impressionists that themselves were inspired by Ukiyo-e, the Japanese woodblock prints.

<description>The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian non-governmental organisation which provides assistance, protection and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons worldwide. In 2004 the NRC produced a 200 page report with Erik Johan Worsøe Eriksen at Saatchi&#38;Saatchi, photographer Rune Eraker and Flammier. This report is describing the conditions refugees have to survive in, country by country on each continent.
